Marta Miaskowska

Multimedia artist, art curator, film director and academic teacher. 
In 2008, she received her Master of Arts degree from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. Her PhD received in 2011 from the Faculty of Media and Scenography of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.
Associated with film production: experimental, documentary, television, advertising, as well as creating multimedia projections for theatre performance. Curator and film selector for cultural events in Poland and abroad.
Author of a book and scholarly texts on new media art. Her research focuses primarily on avant-garde cinema and the phenomenon of artists working in front of their own lens.
Leader and implementer of national and international projects in the field of artistic education. Since 2018, she has been running the Multimedia Activities Studio at the Faculty of Textiles and Design of the Lodz University of Technology.
Her practice related with social and feminist topic. She works with video, installation, photography, printmaking, performance and textile.
